So if you've been a dill and are umming and arrrring about whether to go or not, make up you mind NOW and head to the site for your cheap cheap tix tix! See ya there! P.S TIMBA'S IN THE HOUSE YA'LL!

Comming up next at Gorker Gallery is the long awaited solo show from the super talented mr Jae Copp. Jae has been locked away for the past year creating an amazing body of work that has to be seen to be beliveved, his work contains levels of detail that will boggle the mind... Think of single haired paint brushes and ink work that will have you squinting away in artistic bliss.
"My Illusions Architect" is a new series of works that sees the introduction of a dramatic and exciting Jae Sopp. For the past 12 months Jae has undergone an experimentation process of both, medium and technical skills, involving various paper treatments, hand stitching and intricate brush based illustrations. Jae has long used allegories and abstract twists to take personal and social views both, good and bad out of context, into a surreal, and at times almost seminonsensical way. Through this series the artist evokes stories of a non-definitive space in time that reflecta postapocalyptic era, as central figures take form to mimic learning's of a bygone civilization, in pursuit of redeeming social harmony, respect and understanding for one another and responsibility for the planet they now inhabit. Armed to the teeth with the much needed strength and environmental compassion, hischaracters begin repairs on the broken in prospects of a new beginning.
So come down this Thursday (tomorrow) and check out some awesome shit and also say fairwell for the year to the walls of Gorker, as this will be the final show of 1010.
Opening this thursday 2 september 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Show runs until the 19 september.
