Mauro Gatti is an italian illustrator and designer. He loves to draw and put on paper all the ideas swimming in his head. He believes that a smile is the cheapest way to be happy, that's why he is always trying to capture the more comical side of life and make it simple but funny and rememberable work.
He takes his inspiration from his quiet life, the sweet Giusy, two pugs named Ozzy and Nena, the Kiss music, vintage Playboy magazines, Seymour Chwast, Raymond Savignac, Alberto Sordi, Monica Vitti and every funny thing he comes across. Check out more of his work at www.maurogatti.com

Man, i love the Alamo Drafthouse. Not only is it a cinema and i love film but also because they commission artists to do the slickest movie posters going around. Basically they get artists to recreate iconic movie posters from the past and turn them into limited edition screenprints. The Alamo's main man Tyler Stout has pretty much made a career out of it but more than often they get other rad artists like our own main main Ken Taylor to come along and crack the whip. Check these warrior prints will you? Far out brussell sprout. Only one werd for them... RAD! Everything goes up on sale today (Thursday, May 27th) at some random time. Visit Mondotees.com

LouLou & Tummie are a Dutch illustration duo who spend their days building an ever expanding empire of colourful graphics and characters. Lead by their crave for toys, happiness and all things cute or robot-like they abuse their computers to spit out designs that can be found in magazines, books, advertisements, plush, papertoys, on walls and interiours, t-shirts and shoes around the galaxy. haha! I love this pair, they produce some really amazing work and have added a nice personal touch to go with it. A real inspirational duo. Check em out at www.loulouandtummie.com

It seems everywhere you look on blogs these days designers are showing us their interpretations of the hmble wedding invitation. There have been a lot of them but this one really caught my eye. Not only does it celebrate one of the happiest moments in two peeples lives but it also includes type and illustration. Does it get any better. The kids over at Post Mammal design direction have meticulously put together this beauty for the lucky bride (Megan) and groom (Robert) as an A-Z account of their lives portraying elements of importance through illustrative letters. I especially love the Rockets and Tea! Crazy awesome stuff. Check out ore of Post Mammal at www.cargocollective.com/postmammal
