Our man Timba is behind the design and branding for this new collective for talented artists, designers and illustrators working with Toby and Melika over the first half of the year to create stage one of the Just Another Story. Street artist supremo BLU has gone and done it again with another aaaaaamazing wall-painted animation dubbed BIG BANG BIG BOOM! "BIG BANG BIG BOOM is an unscientific point of view on the beginning and evolution of life... and how it could probably end. In signature BLU style, BIG and BOLD this shit is so RAD that it's off the RADar! With direction and animation by BLU and soundtrack by Andrea Martignoni it's well worth checking out.

MONDAY 12 JULY 2010 // HAPPY MONDAYS!!!

Well, it wouldn't be the happiest monday if you're a dutchie after our team lost the World Cup final last night to Spain. In a messy, contreversial and somewhat aggresive game even crazy Daniel Larusso (karate kid) style ninja kicks couldn't stop the spanish bulls from scoring late in the second period of added time. Alright, so Now that the football's over, back to normal life. Happy monday ya'll!

MONDAY 12 JULY 2010 // ANDREW ARCHER ILLUSTRATIONS

I've blogged the work of Andrew Archer before but i'll blog it again coz it's so damn fresh!!! Archer has been working full time as an illustrator since 2007. Before that he studied graphic design and worked in the industry for a few years only to realize 80 percent of his "design" was actually illustration. Growing up with pens and paint probably helped start that habit then according to Andrew 'when the personal computer started to dominate the world I had to try it out', which is reflected heavily in his work. He uses a healthy mix of both traditional and digital techniques with no real preference of medium. He didn’t take art through his younger years, but he did eat crayons which quite possibly is where his off-beat colour palettes come from.
