THURSDAY 06 MAY 2010 // GO CLIMB SOMETHING

Remember being a little kid? I dont all that much for some reason, but most people i know have fond memories of mud pies, wizzie dizzies and sprinklers under the trampoline, and not one of these new pansy-ass UFC cage match tramps, the REAL trampolines, with springs and shit! One thing i do remember is the absolute lack of fear & lack of danger. Pretty much climb anything, jump from any height go as fast as i can. Not sure what happened, but you loose a little of that when you grow up. Well, the people over at No Promise Of Safety pretty much never found it. 700ft high cranes? No worries! WEDNESDAY 05 MAY 2010 // GOTS TO LOVE A GOOD VECTOR

Since i found my way into the world of design in high school drawing isometric and planometric drawings with a set-square (can someone explain to my why that is still being taught? I mean yeah, its the "roots" and all that crap but i haven't touched thats stuff since i finished) and stumbling onto IdN Magazine (thank feck) Im pretty much obsessed with Vector Art (really, arnt we all?) and one of the first port of calls is none other than Jared Nickerson AKA J3Concepts. And looking through his Behance account i came across his down right cosmicly wicked piece of the Prototype model of the 1971 Lamborghini Countach LP400 and just had to share incase you missed it! Hop-damn i cant wait for TRON 2!

TUESDAY 04 MAY 2010 // GET A PORTRAIT UP YA

Snapping a good portrait can be a bloody tricky thing, thats for sure. Sometimes, you nail one with your little G11 in the toilets of that bar your always at and all of a sudden your brilliant, but for the most part your probably in the same boat as me and suck. No big deal, there are people out there like Belgium based Fab Five who are doing a bloody fine job of it. His series 'Backstage' is an on going project of some brutal portraits of the kind of no good characters you would find, you guessed it, backstage! MONDAY 03 MAY 2010 // HAPPY MONDAY?

SSooooooo you may be wondering why its taken me hours to get this Happy Monday T H A N G tthhhaaaaang happening this monday? We'll you see, its one of those not so happy, happy mondays, again. Pretty much my brain feels like its just been delt a triple KO out of it protective case, AKA my skull! But i guess it was all worth. Viva La House Party i say! Anyone got one going this weekend? Av a peachie week!
