Holey Moley what a task! When 5000 copies of your magazine arrive only the day ahead of your launch you need to stop and think gee whiz if it wasn't for my truly AMAZING friends i'd be well and truly fucked and shit up a creek with no paddle. So i just want to say a HUGE thanks to everyone who came down to Gorker yesterday/last night and endured paper cuts and corked thighs to help pack over 2000 copies of the music edition so that I could get them out to all of you that have waited so patiently for it. It was epic to say the least and here are some photos to prove that this shit really is truly HAND MADE!

Growing up as a healthy young Dutch boy, Stefan Glerum from Amsterdam developed an interest in old paper, second hand records and extremely large trousers. To give shape to these fascinations Glerum started to work as an assistent to Dutch master of the clear line Joost Swarte. Glerum studied illustration at the Academy St. Joost and now works as a freelance illustrator and designer, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His work is really tight and displays a nice music theme throughout the works on display over at his website www.stefanglerum.com

Artist SIT has been part of the Amsterdam creative scene for many years. Doing action painting, graphic design, advertising and more until he got fed up. He went back to square one to find his true essence. Back to head and handcraft. His works explore nature vs man and our technological interuption of the natural word. In his work you will find a lot of reference to problems both in nature and in human society most notably the celebrity world through his stylised imagery. Yep, you saw it, you heard it, you read it. It happened. a freaking draw! Like thats what this country needed, another draw! At least his wont be decided by a few "indy's"! But before the other "Big Day" on Saturday, we have the real highlight of the week on Wednesday night! Oh yeah baby, you know it, LAUNCH DAY! Ahhhhbloodyshityeah! SATURDAY 25 SEPTEMBER 2010 // AMAZING WORK BY BLACKYARD

I'd seen some of the work of Blackyard before on various poster blogs here and there but i was just sent some work by these guys and HOLEY MOLEY, it's amazing! They have so much work on their site it's not funny! I need a nap after looking at this shit! BlackYard consists of four graphic designers/illustrators who teamed up in late 2008 they teamed up in the small neighbourhood “Matte” in downtown Bern, Switzerland. Their focus is illustration and graphic design, executed with much care for detail through sketching, drawing and inking by hand before preparing them on computer for offset or screenprinting. I seriously suggest you put some time aside to check out the amazing work of Blackyard www.blackyard.ch
